The Eaton BJ2225 is a 225A, 2-pole sub feed main circuit breaker for your Eaton BJ-series loadcenters. Rated for 120/240V AC systems, it is installed in feeder and subpanel applications requiring a 225-amp plug-on main breaker.
This breaker features common-trip operation, causing both poles to open simultaneously during overload or short-circuit conditions. The BJ2225 is found in your residential, multifamily, and light commercial electrical systems where maintaining compatibility with existing Eaton equipment is important. With a 10 kAIC interrupting rating and UL 489 listing, it meets the requirements for many BJ-frame replacement, repair, and maintenance projects.
