The Eaton BRN250GF is a 50 Amp two-pole GFCI circuit breaker designed for you to use in compatible Eaton Type BR loadcenters and panelboards. It combines standard overload and short-circuit protection with built-in ground-fault protection, allowing a single breaker to provide protection for both the circuit and connected equipment.
This breaker is commonly installed on 120/240-volt circuits where personnel ground-fault protection is required. Typical applications include hot tubs, spas, pool equipment, outdoor electrical circuits, workshops, garages, utility areas, and other locations where electrical equipment may be exposed to moisture. The integrated GFCI protection continuously monitors the circuit and trips when a ground-fault condition is detected.
Its two-pole common-trip design disconnects both poles simultaneously when required, making it suitable for larger 120/240-volt loads. The built-in GFI indicator also helps you identify trip conditions during troubleshooting and maintenance.
