The Square D FAL340501021 is a 50-amp, 3-pole FA Series molded-case circuit breaker with a factory-installed shunt trip for compatible 480V applications where remote breaker operation is required. The breaker uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit to handle both overload and short-circuit conditions. If your circuit stays overloaded for too long, the thermal element responds.
